We hope you’re all having a terrific winter/spring registration season and have been making great use of the new email tools to reach your students.

I wanted to make a quick post to let you all know about a small update we’ve made recently and give you a sense for some other great features coming soon.

We know heavy registration times can be very busy for you, so we’re always on the lookout for ways to help save you time. One of the tasks we know you spend a lot of time on is just working with your students and helping them out. So, today, we’ve released a new update to help.

Student Log In

371f7a4a-b7f3-499f-bd73-50f527d9e781With the aim of taking some of the logistics off your plate, we’ve created an area where students can now log in, update their contact info (email included), and change their password. As part of the update, you’ll see a new “Log In” link at the top of each catalog page just for your students. (Note: your own staff log in link is still located at the bottom of the screen.) Your students can click this link, enter their info, and get access to their own area with these new tools to manage their account.

For this first update, we’ve added the basics to get students rolling, but we plan to add more features over time, giving them even more control over their account.

So if a student calls in asking to have their phone number updated, you know right where to direct them.

More to Come

This is the start to many more features to put you and your students in direct control of student accounts. In doing so, we hope to make your lives just that much more productive.

As usual, we can’t wait to show you some of the other great ideas we have, so stay tuned!
