Today, we’re excited to announce a brand new theme available to all CourseStorm customers and a slew of other goodies that we think are going to make your day to day much easier.
Brand New Theme
There’s a lot we can say about the new theme we’re releasing today (which we lovingly call “Stripes”). For instance, it supports all the great accessibility features we announced in recent weeks. It also features a wider and more simplified design that puts your brand and classes in the spotlight. But, honestly, the best way to experience it is just to see it in action.
If you’re an existing customer, know that your website design will not automatically change. You’ll still be using the same “Ribbon” theme that you know and love. However, if you are interested in switching over to the new design, just send us an email and we’ll be happy to flip the switch on this end, giving your catalog site a fresh new feel.
If the new theme weren’t enough, we took the time to add a couple other goodies into the mix. Read below to see what’s new!
Inline Edit Class Button
As of this update, you may notice a new “Edit Class” button in the admin bar. This great new addition makes it simple to jump right to the admin overview screen for a class right from its detail page on your catalog — perfect for when you’re on a class page and see some updates you’d like to make.
Admin Menu Reorganization
We’ve also moved a few items in the admin menu. If you’re looking for the Customize Registration Form menu item and can’t find it — don’t worry! It’s still there, just in a new home. Rather than place it under the Account menu section (which, honestly, always felt a bit weird to us), you’ll now find it under Registrations > More > Customize Form.
And finally, if you’re looking to customize your theme to change its colors, set your logo, or update the primary photo, we’ve moved this item to Account > Organization > Customize Theme.
We hope these updates make things even more convenient for you. And, as always, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to shoot us an email.
