I’m sure that you all are busy wrapping up this semester and preparing for summer classes and/or a well-deserved summer break! We are continuing to develop CourseStorm and are very excited to present this latest update: direct deposit.
On Monday, June 2, 2014, CourseStorm will be switching over to a completely automated direct deposit payment system. From that point on, all payouts will be deposited directly into your bank account. If there are any outstanding balances on June 2, we will send you one final check for that amount.
Payouts will continue to be processed on the first Monday after a class begins, but starting on June 16th, the system will deposit the funds directly into your account. You will now have your money in hand almost immediately, rather than having to wait for it to go through the mail!
You will also receive an email which details the amount deposited and lists all of the corresponding registrations. It will be the exact same information that you have been receiving all along, just presented in an electronic format.
This change to a completely automated system will make the payment process more efficient, reduce the chance for human error, and get the registration fees into your hands as quickly as possible. It’s a win-win situation for everyone!
