We're a different kind of software company.

We’re building tools that streamline access to education.

On CourseStorm’s Product Team, we combine our passions for technology and education to create powerful software that’s simple for learners and educators to use and understand. And our spirit of curiosity and personal growth finds its way into every aspect of our company.

Learners use the software we build to connect with informal and non-credit education every day. Foreach interaction a person has with our product, there’s hours of carefully considered design and development. Whether we’re registering Jordyn for an after-school arts class in Alabama or Roberto training for a new job in Wyoming, we’re helping streamline enrollments for education programs across the country.

Make a difference from your living room (or code from camp).

You don’t have to go far to make a huge impact. Most of our positions are remote, which means that as long as you have a reasonably fast Internet connection, you can contribute from wherever you are. We’re big fans of taking walks or hikes, getting out on the water, and taking a day trip to hit the slopes.

CourseStorm’s based in Orono, Maine, and our employees are from across New England. We often hold our in-person events outside to celebrate the gorgeous Maine summer weather. Our company shares a lot of classic Maine values: being authentic, helping others, and building a solid product that lasts.

“I enjoy working with a team full of driven people who all feel they have a direct impact on our company’s goals.”

—Justin Russell, Product Manager

“I think one of the best parts about working here is the ability to try and fail, and always working toward a better product. Not everything works out all of the time, but the ability to try different things to get the best solution is great.”

—Brady Charron, Product Engineer
