Financial Flexibility and Time-Saving Reporting

As you may know, we kicked off this year with a driving focus: to talk to as many customers as we can to learn more about what you like and don’t like about using the CourseStorm product. I can’t tell you how much I love talking with customers and appreciate the treasure trove of feedback that you all have given us, both good and bad!
🏦 New, Flexible Financial System
To start, I’ve been incredibly pleased with the positive response we’ve received on the new financial system we’ve been working on. Those that I’ve spoken with have repeatedly praised the simplicity and flexibility of the new system and the foundation it lays for future feature development, particularly in the areas of payment plan flexibility and improvements to student transfers.

🕗 Saving Time with Better Reporting
Another area of interest for our team centers around reporting and how we can streamline that process for all of you.
When we first developed CourseStorm, we wanted to make sure that, as our customer, you have access to all of your data. We didn’t want to be a black box of information. To that end, we developed our Excel export feature which lets you export everything under the sun as it relates to registrations you’ve taken in CourseStorm. From there, you would have access to anything you’d need to create whatever reports your heart desired.
However, what’s become clear to us in the intervening years is that there’s so much more we can do on the Reporting side to follow our ethos of making your experience impossibly simple. Downloading Excel: simple. Making custom reports from a giant Excel file: not so simple.
In that light, we’re excited to be exploring new reporting features that can simplify your life and give you more time back to work with your students and not spreadsheets.
