November 1, 2021

It’s been a busy time at CourseStorm, and we’re glad to finally have the time to formally welcome Marketing Manager Nicole Lyons and Sales Account Representative Tricia Cooke to the CourseStorm team!

“Our strength at CourseStorm has always come from the strength of our team. As the company continues to expand, we are always on the hunt for helpful, growth-oriented people to join in our journey, and Nicole and Tricia certainly fit that mold,” commented Brian Rahill, CourseStorm CEO. “We are excited by the impact they will make in helping us streamline access to education for students nationwide.”

Marketing Team Gains Manager

In addition to being a passionate marketer, Nic is a passionate reader, consuming more than 100 books per year. She has canoed over 80 miles of the Connecticut River and is a tenacious amateur gardener. We hear she has a secret family whoopie pie recipe, which everyone at CourseStorm is looking forward to knowing more about.

“I’m excited to have joined a thriving, culture-conscious Maine-based company like CourseStorm. I’m looking forward to helping educators and learners connect in meaningful ways,” she said.

In her role at CourseStorm, Nic will lead CourseStorm’s day-to-day marketing needs and focus on strategic, high-growth markets in coordination with CourseStorm’s sales team. Prior to joining CourseStorm, Nic was the Manager of Operations and previously Manager of Marketing at Wayside Publishing. Wayside Publishing is an educational technology and book publishing company in Maine.

“We are thrilled to welcome Nic Lyons to lead our Marketing team,” said Matt James, CourseStorm COO. “Her experience leading marketing at a high-growth edtech company makes her a fantastic fit for CourseStorm and dovetails perfectly with the needs of our growing company.”

Sales Team Welcomes Account Executive

Tricia lives in Manchester, Maine, with her family and values time with them above all else. She loves painting, baking, relaxing hikes, bonfires, and is a big movie buff (which should make the CourseStorm summer movie league interesting!)

“I’m excited to be on the CourseStorm team because of the culture, great leadership, and feel proud to represent such an impactful platform to organizations,” she said.

In her role at CourseStorm, Tricia will introduce prospective customers to CourseStorm and guide both inbound and outbound prospects through the sales process. Before joining CourseStorm, Tricia was the Advertising Sales Manager at the Maine Tourism Association.

“I’m pleased to have someone with Tricia’s experience join the CourseStorm family,” commended Jeff Whitlow, CourseStorm Sales Manager. “Tricia takes a helpful approach to sales by discovering prospects’ pain points and presenting a solution to solve their problems. Tricia’s biggest strengths are in relationship building and being open and honest with potential customers. I look forward to Tricia’s long-term success and growth here at CourseStorm.”
