As we come to the end of another year, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the past year and share some of our successes at CourseStorm. It’s been an exciting year for our company! We’ve made some great strides in achieving our mission of streamlining access to your educational classes and programs. Read on to learn more about the changes we’ve made this year!

SoLa Tech Center

Growing Our Impact

Despite the challenges of the pandemic, we’ve continued to grow and expand, partnering with more organizations and helping them reach a wider audience for their classes. Organizations like SoLa Tech & Entrepreneurship Center who are working to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty by providing first rate education in coding, robotics, and graphic design to their community of South Los Angeles. And ABLE Ensemble who provide performing arts experiences that build confidence in individuals with Down syndrome and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. And many more. We couldn’t be happier to partner with these fantastic organizations and to help them achieve their missions!

To support this expanded reach, we’ve grown internally as well, welcoming 8 new CourseStormers to the company in the last 12 months. These new team members are making a huge impact across all teams, and we’re thrilled to have them!

New Features

Along the way, we’ve also introduced several new features and enhancements to our platform. We’ve added two-factor authentication to help you further secure your accounts and protect your students’ information. We also added the ability to further customize your registration forms to ensure you always have the latest information from your students. And, behind the scenes, we’ve been hard at work on a brand new financial system which will act as a great foundation for lots of upcoming features to make your day-to-day payment processing much more flexible, including the new payout process we recently previewed.

New Partnership

CourseStorm and Little Green Light partnership

In addition to these great updates, this year we introduced a new partnership with the donor management system, Little Green Light, which helps non-profits bring all their data under one roof. With our new integration, registrations processed in CourseStorm flow right into the Little Green Light dashboard, making it easy for nonprofits to track their education programs and donations all in the same place.

State of Informal Learning

In case you missed it, this year also marked the release of our first ever State of Informal Learning (SOIL) Report. In it, you’ll find a ton of great data to help you decide when to post your classes for maximum impact, how to price your classes, and even if your class cancellation rate is on-par with your peers. It’s a great resource and we hope you find it truly useful!

1 Million Connections and Beyond!

To cap off the year, we’re incredibly excited to announce that we celebrated our 1 millionth connection made to education! The milestone moment was celebrated by the entire company along with our friends and community supporters where we highlighted the amazing work being done by you all to connect the world to education. It is the privilege of a lifetime to help you maximize your impact. We look forward to the coming years and helping you reach millions more students!

This has been an incredibly successful year for CourseStorm, and we’re looking forward to announcing the many great new features, partnerships, content, and milestones yet to come. Thank you to everyone who has helped us along this journey. We can’t wait to show you what’s next!
