Referral Program

Terms & Conditions

Introduction

The CourseStorm Referral Program allows Participants to earn a commission fee by referring local education Programs to CourseStorm. Participants in the program must agree to these terms, which become part of the CourseStorm Terms of Service.

How to Earn a Referral Commission

Participants can earn a Referral Commission if: (i) a referred Program selects the Participant as the source to which they’d like to credit for their new account; and (ii) the referred Program completes the sign-up process for CourseStorm including a Memorandum of Understanding among other required forms; and (iii) the referred Program is accepted by CourseStorm as a Qualifying Education Program. The Participant may not be the Referred Program owner nor an employee of the Program.

The referring Participant will be paid the referral commission via check as described in the accompanying promotional materials.

Qualifying Education Program

A Qualifying Education Program must have total credit card transactions of $1,000 (excluding services fees) through CourseStorm or, in the case of Programs offering only free classes, pay for a yearly subscription to CourseStorm. The Program’s credit card transactions must be released to the Program before the Referring Participant can receive their Referral Commission.

Sharing Referral Links

Referrals should only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes, and only shared with personal connections that will appreciate receiving these invitations. Referral links should not be published or distributed where there is no reasonable basis for believing that all or most of the recipients are personal acquaintances (such as coupon websites, Reddit, or Wikipedia).

Referred Programs

Referred Programs that have signed up using a valid referral will receive a $100 rebate within their first year of Service on CourseStorm.

Multiple Referrals

A Referred Program may only select one Referring Participant. If a Referred Program receives referrals from multiple Participants, only the corresponding selected Participant will receive the Referral Commission Fee.

Severability

If any provision in these terms are held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, such provision (or the part of it that is making it invalid, void or unenforceable) will be struck and not affect the validity of and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Termination and Change

CourseStorm may suspend or terminate the Referral Program or a person’s ability to participate in the Referral Program at any time for any reason. Requirements and incentives may also change at any time.

Referral Commissions earned as a result of fraudulent activities are null and void. We reserve the right to suspend accounts or remove referrals if we notice any activity that we believe is abusive or fraudulent. We reserve the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to suspend accounts or cancel or modify referrals as we deem fair and appropriate. Non-fraudulent accrued Referral Commissions are not affected by suspension or termination of the Referral Program or a person’s participation.

Updates to the Terms

We can update these terms at any time without prior notice. If we modify these terms, we will post the modification on the CourseStorm.com website, applications, or services, which are effective upon posting. Continued participation in the Referral Program after any modification shall constitute consent to such modification. If the modified terms are not acceptable, the only recourse is to stop sending referrals or participating in the Referral Program.
